Jennifer Pulchinski
Wisconsin native Jennifer Pulchinski reclocated to Bozeman, MT in 2001 where she went on to graduate with a BFA in drawing and sculpture from the University of Montana. For the last decade, Pulchinski has been creating sculptures using barbed wire, and reclaimed wood; an idea that came to her during a hot afternoon stroll, “The movement from the wind thru the grasses absolutely caught my attention. As I looked down, I saw it! A huge pile of discarded, used, and rusting barbed wire…The wind, the flow, the softness, that feeling…I am still taking that walk for inspiration and I am still thinking, I will sculpt wind.”
